4.6- Advice
Dry grass, leaves, pine needles, twigs and dry woods may ignite and may cause outbreak of fire.
Keep monitoring the treated plants still for some time after their treatment.
Even several minutes after treatment, the plants may ignite and cause a fire.
Always have a fire extinguisher or a fire blanket nearby to deal with any fire departure or fire
outbreak.
V. OPERATION
Remark: During first commissioning, a slight odor or light smoke could be released from the product.
It has no impact or consequence on the product.
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for domestic use use in private gardens.
- The product is intended for the elimination of weeds and other invasive plants between paving
stones, from masonry, in flower beds and lawns during the growth period.
- The product can also be used for lighting charcoal barbecues outdoors. Carefully observe the
operating instructions and regulations of the barbecue manufacturer.
- The product is not intended for artisanal, commercial, professional and / or industrial use (e.g. in
public spaces and parks ...)
- Do not use the product for applications for which it is not intended and for uses not described in the
manual.
- Any other use, other than that described in the instructions, is likely to damage the tool and to put
the user in serious danger
- Do NOT use the machine for:
- To radiate heat or heating of domestic or business premises, private or public;
- To dry or dehumidify laundry, furniture, floors, walls and ceilings, or other objects;
- As a hairdryer or dryer to humans or animals;
- To defrost ice or snow;
- To defrost, dry, heat or cook food intended for human or animal consumption.
- Do not apply tools or accessories on the product that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
5.2- Operation – with the weeding bell:
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- The product can be used without the handle (1).
For such use, hold the product by the tool's handle (8) (see examples - photo 1)
- The product can be used with the handle (1).
For this use, assemble the handle extremity (4a) into connection port (4b) then extremity (15) into
port (6) on the rear of handle (8). Hold tool by the handle (1) (see examples - photo 2 and 3)
- Firmly hold tool by the handle (1 or 8) and always maintain a balanced and secure position.
- Set switch on position II and allow unit to warm up for a few seconds.
- Place the bell over treating area. Do not make sudden movements.
- Once work is finished, stop product by setting the switch on position I for approx. 45s to allow unit
to cool down and then set switch on OFF position.
Note: do not put down product until the nozzle is completely cooled down.
Do not leave the product unattended while nozzle is hot.
