5. Do not use the tool in wet or damp conditions, areas. Keep work area free from tipping hazards.
6. Never put down the tool unless the tool is switched off and fully cool down
7. Keep hands and other body parts well away from the nozzle while tool is in use.
Do not point towards persons and/or animals.
Do not look into air duct or hot air current.
8. Residual risks
Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual risk factors. The
following hazards may arise in connection with the tool's construction and design:
a. Damage to lungs if an effective dust mask is not worn.
b. The tool reaches extremely high temperatures (up to 600°C) without any particular sign (such as for
ex flames), there is a risk of fire
c. The hot air current can cause serious burns!
9. Electrical Safety
Always check that the voltage of the power supply matches the voltage indicated on the tool's rating
plate.
10. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
If the power cable or extension cord is damaged or cut during operation, immediately disconnect plug
from its main power source. Do not touch the cable or extension cord before unplugging from main
power.
11. Remarks:
The safety precautions and instructions given in this manual are unable to cover in detail all the
conditions and situations that may arise.
The operator and/or user must use common sense and caution when operating the product especially
for any matters that are not referred in the above
(D) Special information on Fire Prevention
A fire may result if the appliance is not used with care, therefore:
- be careful when using the appliance in places where there are combustible materials.
- Do not apply to the same place for a long time.
When applying the appliance on the floor/ground, the recommended operating cycle is 30s ON and
10s OFF.
- do not use in presence of an explosive atmosphere
- heat may be conducted to combustible materials which are out of sight.
- place appliance on its stand (if any such device is provided or available) after use and allow to cool
down before storage.
- do not allow the hot parts of the appliance to touch its own cord (or extension) or other flammable
materials.
Do not direct the hot air jet towards flammable objects (for ex. Gas bottles...)
Keep away from flammable sources.
Do NOT smoke during operation.
Fire prevention:
Before use, prepare and keep nearby a fire extinguisher or a fire blanket to deal with any starting fire
or fire outbreak.
