Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Solution
Check the power input cord connections. When this problem occurs, the Charging
LED will not be lit.
Plug the monitor into a hospital-grade AC power outlet and recharge the battery for
at least 10 minutes. Then turn on again.
The AC/DC converter has auto-resetting fuses that can be reset by removing AC
power for 30 seconds.
If the unit operates on AC power, but will not function on battery power, the 5A
fuse on the battery may be blown. Remove battery from bottom of unit and check
fuse.
Solution
Allow battery to charge for a period of 10 minutes. Then turn on again. Verify that
the battery voltage is above 6.0 V as the power cycles.
Solution
Move the monitor or remove objects that are too close to it.
