Functions and technical features
• The smoke alarm does not detect gases, vapours, heat and fire/flames!
• It is possible that people with limited hearing may not hear the alarm!
For such cases special alarms with optical signalling are available.
• Especially high electromagnetic radiation may affect unit operation. Therefore, do
not install the alarm near devices which emit electromagnetic radiation or close
to magnets.
• This smoke alarm works according to the principles of optics (photoelectric
reflection) and contains a measuring chamber in which penetrating smoke
particles are measured.
