MANAGING TELEPHONE CALLS
To manage phone calls, the headset must be paired with and connected to a phone with Bluetooth capability. See above
"BLUETOOTH PAIRING".
ANSWER A PHONE CALL
When the headset is connected to a phone via Bluetooth and there is an incoming call, a confirming voice message
"incoming call", and possibly the ring signal from the phone, will be repeated every third second. Answer by pressing
briefly on the Bluetooth button on the left cup (A:5).
An ongoing phone call is indicated by a rapidly flashing blue LED in the ON/OFF/MODE (Θ) button.
NOTICE! The ambient-noise compensated speech microphone on the headset has to be positioned very close to your
mouth (1–3 mm)!
REJECT A CALL
Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds to reject a phone call.
ADJUST BLUETOOTH VOLUME
Press the ON/OFF/MODE (Θ) button to reach "BLUETOOTH". Adjust the volume during a call by pressing the (+) or (–)
buttons.
TRANSFER A PHONE CALL
When a call is active it is possible to transfer the audio to the phone, instead of using the headset.
Press the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.
To take back the call to the headset again, press the Bluetooth button once more.
FINISH A PHONE CALL
Press the Bluetooth button briefly to finish an ongoing phone call.
REDIAL
When a Bluetooth equipped phone is connected to the headset it is possible to repeat the last dialled number on the phone.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds. Redialling is confirmed by a voice message "redial".
VOICE DIAL
"Hands-free dialling" to predetermined numbers can be performed if a phone equipped with Bluetooth and "voice dial" is
connected to the headset. (The "voice dial" function also needs to be activated in the connected phone and a voice tag for
each predetermined number should be recorded in the phone.)
Press briefly on the Bluetooth button on the left cup of the headset and talk into the headset boom microphone. A voice
message "voice dial" indicates automatic dialling. The phone will make the call automatically if the voice tag is recognized.
STREAMING AUDIO
If a device which supports Bluetooth profile "A2DP" is linked to and paired with the headset, audio (music, etc.) can be
wirelessly streamed to the headset. Active streaming is indicated by a rapidly flashing blue LED in the ON/OFF/MODE (Θ)
button.
ADJUST STREAMING AUDIO VOLUME
Press the ON/OFF/MODE (Θ) button to reach "BLUETOOTH". Adjust the volume during a call by pressing the (+) or (–)
buttons.
INTERACTION BETWEEN BLUETOOTH AND RADIO
If there is an incoming or outgoing transmission on the built-in communication radio during a phone call, the headset will
pan the phone call to the left cup and the radio transmission to the right cup.
During phone calls via Bluetooth, VOX operation with the built-in radio is blocked.
During transmissions with the built-in radio, the voice to the phone via Bluetooth is blocked.
If there is an incoming or outgoing transmission on the built-in communication radio while listening to audio via stereo
streaming, the sound of the streaming audio is lowered during the transmission.
