Before replacing the Irrigation Pump, wipe off excess water from the
pump and Drive Shaft. Wet drive shaft and rollers can be slippery and
CAUTION
cause improper operation.
Wipe dirt and water off the Drive Shaft from the bottom up (Fig. 55).
Insert the replacement Irrigation Pump straight into the Drive Shaft in a
slow and gentle manner to prevent damaging the pump rollers.
After replacing the Irrigation Pump, run this product for about 10
seconds with Irrigation Mode set to Bottle and Irrigation Volume set to
maximum so the Irrigation Tube adapts to the new Pump.
Ensure there are no kinks or twists in the Irrigation tube. If tube is set
incorrectly, Irrigation Water may not be supplied.
Make sure that the Tube is not caught under the Irrigation Pump Cover
when closing the Irrigation Pump Cover.
Only use the dedicated Irrigation Pump for Varios Combi Pro. Other
pumps cannot be used.
NOTICE
Clean the Drive Shaft periodically with a cloth soaked in alcohol. Debris on Drive Shaft may cause incorrect pump operation.
The pump is a wear item. If the irrigation volume decreases markedly, replace the pump.

If you feel that the water volume has dropped, change the Water Filter before a year
has elapsed.
1) Close the water valve of the dental unit.
2) Place the Control Unit on a cloth, etc. in case water leaks.
3) Use two spanners (5x8) and turn in the directions shown below in Fig. 56.
4) Remove the Water Filter Case and take out the Water Filter.
