5. DRIVER BOX ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
CAUTION: Edges of driver box are sharp. Wear protective gloves during installation.
The UV-C light must be installed on a separate circuit from the fan. Connect the UV-C light to the lighting grid
control, not to the fan control.
Route supply power wiring, the UV-C light power cable, the fan controller input cable, fi re relay wiring (if applicable),
and the wall controller cable to the driver box. Make the electrical connections shown below and on the following
pages. Note: Remove the RJ-45 adapter from the driver box control board before making the connections.
Minimum Type SJ, 18 AWG 3-conductor cord with ground
Control Board LED Indicators
LED Name
POWER Lights blue to indicate control board has power
ACTIVE Lights green to indicate UV-C light is ON
FAULT Lights red to indicate overcurrent on UV-C light
E_LED Lights green when fan is ON (also shows fan error codes)
