4. DRIVER BOX MOUNTING
CAUTION: Edges of driver box are sharp. Wear protective gloves during installation.
Mount the driver box to a secure surface near the ceiling above the fan.
Angle Irons or I-Beam
Use this method if the fan is mounted to angle irons installed between bar joists or Z-purlins or if the fan is mounted to
an I-beam. If the fan is mounted to an I-beam, install two angle irons underneath or on top of the I-beam.
Mount the driver box to the angle irons using four bolts, eight washers, and four nuts. The hardware must be 1/4-20 or
greater.
