OPERATION
To turn the UV-C light on, turn on power to the light and the fan, and make sure the fan is spinning. The light will only
turn on while the fan is spinning. Turning the fan off will automatically turn the light off.
To turn the light off and leave the fan running, turn off power to the light. You can continue to operate the fan
independently of the light.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons during cleaning and user maintenance. Disconnect
the appliance from the power supply before servicing.
WARNING: Skin or eye damage may result from directly viewing ultraviolet light produced by the lamp in this
apparatus. Always disconnect power before relamping or servicing.
Clean the LEDs periodically to ensure optimal performance. Use a compressed air duster to remove dust and debris
from the LEDs. Do not touch the LEDs while cleaning. Hold the duster can upright when using.
Big Ass Fans recommends replacing the UV-C LED board every three years.

Status
The fan drive electronics have exceeded safe

Solution(s)
The fan will shut down for five minutes,
and then attempt to restart twice. If the
fan does not restart after two attempts,
reset power to the fan.
If the fan still does not restart, contact
Customer Service.
The fan will shut down and will not
attempt to restart. Contact Customer
Service.
Make sure the blue wire and the
yellow wire on the controller input
cable are wired together, or check for
a false fire relay trip.
If the circuit is open or the fire relay
has tripped, close the circuit and turn
off power to the fan for 60 seconds.
