2.9.3. Smokestack cleaning. It is necessary to clean the chimney at least once a
year. The only thing to be done is to remove the deflected panels.
2.9.4. Paint. The exothermic paint that covers the inside and the outside of the
appliance up to 600ºC, but the process of polymerisation will be reached with the
first fires, so a peculiar odour will spread out. It is also possible that after some
time, the paint inside the fireplace wears off due to the liquid corrosion, fuel or
other reasons. In this case, it will be necessary to wear the rusty zones off and
repaint them again.
(Use only the spray "Rocal spray pint 600ºC BLACK).
2.10. Fire Prevention. No flammable element must be placed the nearest at 1000
mm away from the fireplace. Special prevention must be taken when children or
elderly around.
In case of a fire, move away all people around, close registers and call the
Firemen Department.
2.11. Operating the fireplace under certain weather conditions. It is possible
that under certain weather conditions the apparatus doesn't work properly: smoke
mislead or not enough intake. When observing these phenomena, it is highly
recommended to close all air registers and extinguish the fire.
2.12. Fireplace modification. Any modification must be authorized by means of
writing on behalf of Manufacturas Rocal SA. It is also compulsory to use the spare
pieces recommended by Manufacturas Rocal SA.
3. OPTIONAL COMPLEMENTS
For this appliance are optional items that you can ask your Rocal delear.
Frame with returns. There is an option frame with returns to finish the work of the
unit. To fit the following steps:
3.1.1. Place the frame. Without removing the standard frame next post on the
device, place the frame with clipping it returns from the bottom (E2, E3, E4, E5,
E6, E7).
3.1.2. Attaching the frame. Tighten the screws to find the inside bottom of the
unit (E8), then tighten the screws supplied in the inside top of the unit (E9).
3.2. Inlet diffuser practicable. If the installation is performed with the extraction
module lower ash pan can be placed in this option air inlet diffuser may act as
practicable door for access to the trough.
