We must take special care in those fireplaces with wooden shelves or similar: we
must prevent and avoid the possibility of hot air that expels the device falls directly
on the wood, in these cases, flammable items should be properly insulated.
1.9. Ventilation.
1.9.1. Fireplace room ventilation (C7,C8,C9,C10). Must provide for a minimum
of 450 cm2 entrance to the niche (enclosure) home for himself and ventilation air
convection to the module (optional, Manufactures Rocal has diffusers with these
features).
1.9.2. Outside air. The contribution required for the combustion air is conducted
through an adapter 100 mm diameter located in the lower rear of the module
(C11). This decision may be outside of the home, garage or basements ventilated.
If this entry is not done outside, this adapter should not be removed.
Although not made this duct should be left outside the tube at ground connection
to the air inlet diffuser.
Placing a rack outside should not reduce the air inlet section indicated above.
You should have proper air intake for combustion at home enclosure, so this is not
completely watertight.
1.9.3. Ventilation of the room. The appliance is provided with an air intake, if this
input is not connected is necessary to provide an air intake in the same room of a
diameter not less than 80 mm, and take into account the simultaneous operation
with other ventilation devices and / or heat such as exhaust fans (kitchen,
bathroom, etc..), heat pump, etc. in these cases must be compensated for the
extraction with the outside air.
1.9.4 Ventilation of the appliance (C12). The appliance, factory, comes with
some openings in the rear and sides of the room:
− With ventilation system kit (optional). If you install the unit with the turbine kit
(optional) must not open any opening, and comes ready.
− Without ventilation system kit. If the appliance is installed without the turbine
kit (optional) must be open all covers (rectangular).
WARNING:
Once open these caps, AS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO INSTALL EQUIPMENT
VENTILATION KIT (TURBINE) OPTIONAL.
You need to connect at least 4 of the vents in the bedroom above the device, they
can go to the same room or adjoining.
1.10. Fireplace room. Should be made of noncombustible materials and should
not ever rest on the module and the points of contact (such as the face frame).
Inside should not contain flammable or fragile materials such as wood, wallpaper,
glass, paper, plaster, etc.
Before you start building the fireplace room, you should remove the frame to avoid
any damage for the duration of construction. To do this follow these steps:
