Intended use
The product is intended for surveillance by means of the integrated camera. It is operated
via a cable connection to a 10/100MBit network (RJ45 port), there is also, an additional
BNC video output is available.
The power for the camera is supplied via the wall plug transformer included in the
delivery.
The camera is suitable for use in indoor and outdoor areas (IP66). The wall plug trans-
former is solely intended for use in dry, enclosed interiors; it must not get damp or wet.
Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera
without their knowledge and consent. Observe the rules and regulations of the coun-
try where you are using the camera.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this
may give rise to hazards such as short-circuiting, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the
product may be modifi ed or converted!

caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In
such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not per-
mitted for safety and approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. It
should be operated out of the reach of children.
• The use of the surveillance camera system does not replace the personal
supervision of children, or people who require special assistance, but only
serves as a support to this supervision.
• The design of the wall plug transformer complies with protection class II.
Only connect the wall plug transformer to a standard mains socket connect-
ed to the public supply.
• The camera is suitable for use in indoor and outdoor areas (IP66). The
product is solely intended for use in dry, enclosed, indoor locations. It must
not get damp or wet; otherwise there is a risk for a potentially fatal electric
shock!
• The camera should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sun-
light, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Make sure that the connection cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp
edges.

• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or
accidental drops, even from a low height.
• If the camera is used with other devices (e.g. a monitor), the operating
instructions and safety notices for these devices must be followed.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer works
- the device has been stored under adverse conditions.

• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating
Materials are to be observed.
• Disconnect the power supply from the camera, if it is not to be used for a
while (e.g. for storage).
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please con-
tact our technical service or another specialist.

Installation
• The mounting location must be clean, dry and dust free, furthermore, the camera
must not be installed in explosive areas.
The camera should not be pointed directly towards bright sources of light or
the sun, since this will overexpose the image.
• The camera can be attached to a wall or ceiling by means of a screw thread on the
back of the camera.
If you want to use the enclosed bracket, this is to be screwed together fi rst.
The bracket is then secured using 3 screws in the desired mounting position. Use
suitable screws and wall plugs, depending on the surface.
Make sure when screwing into place or when drilling holes that cables or wires
are not damaged.
• A suffi ciently large hole is required for laying the connection cable with attached con-
nection plugs. Protect the connection plugs from dust or dirt, e.g. with a small plastic
bag, when pushing them through openings.
The connection plugs must be protected against moisture. For this reason, lay the
connection cable so the plugs are always located in dry areas or use a suitable pro-
tective housing or similar.
Likewise, the wall plug transformer must be located in a dry, enclosed indoor
area; it must not get wet or damp! There is a risk of a life-threatening electric
shock!
