INSTALLATION
SLT950 EM – SLT951 EM
This appliance can only be used in the ex-
traction version. It must be connected to a
separate DHK7000 motor (sold separately).
Fit a false ceiling with an opening that has the
following dimensions:
SL950 1465x965 mm with a minimum gap
of 270 mm between the ceiling and the false
ceiling.
SL951 1065x665 mm with a minimum gap
of 270 mm between the ceiling and the false
ceiling.
It is possible to select the side of the hood for
the exhaust air conduit.
After choosing the most suitable position,
prepare the ducting: the attachments provi-
ded include a round ring with a diameter of
150 mm for the top outlet and an oval ring
with an oval/circular union (diameter 150
mm) for a side outlet, if necessary.
Leave any unused exhaust outlets closed.
Draw the outline of the hole to house the cei-
ling-mounted hood, according to the chosen
model on the solid ceiling (Fig. 1); make 4
holes in the ceiling according to the mea-
surements shown in Fig. 2; place the metric
plugs provided in the holes; Open the stain-
less steel panels and remove the grease filters
to avoid damaging them in any way and for
easier installation (Fig. 3); screw the threa-
ded bars provided into the plugs (Fig.4); the
threaded bars are 250 mm long and serve to
install the ceiling-mounted hood at a distan-
ce from the solid ceiling of between 270 mm
and 370 mm (Fig. 5); in case of a larger gap
between the hood and the ceiling, use longer
threaded bars. Make the electrical connec-
tions and connect the air outlet flue; Insert
the ceiling-mounted hood into the niche, in-
serting the threaded bars into the holes (Fig.
6); the outer edge of the hood needs to be
perfectly flush with the false ceiling. Place the
plates and nuts provided over the threaded
bars, making sure to tighten them securely
(Fig. 7); refit the grease filter and filter cover
panels.

Fit a false ceiling with an opening that has the
following dimensions:
SLT952 (INTERNAL MOTOR): 1050x645mm
with a minimum distance of 450mm between
the ceiling and the false ceiling;

1050x645mm with a minimum distance of
250mm between the ceiling and
ceiling;
It is possible to select the side of the cooker
hood where the air suctioned can be dischar-
ged.
In the SLT952 model, remove the plug in the
upper part of the appliance and fit the suc-
tioning unit. (see fig.12). Connect the motor
electric cable to the suitable connector found
inside the cooker hood , orient the air out-let
flange towards the desired direction and fix
the motor to the cooker hood body by using
the screws previously removed.
If it is necessary to orient the air out-let
upwards, please remove the plug shown in
fig. 13. Remove the motor fixing screws ,
pull the motor out, rotate it and then insert
it in the out-let hole just opened and fix it by
using the screws previously removed.
Unused holes must be closed with the suita-
ble plug.
In the SLT952 EM model, it is possible to
use the side air-out-lets or the top out-let
by using suitable flanges, supplied with the
appliance, after having removed the plug.
Side out-lets also have a rectangular flange
as an alternative, while in the top out-let it
is possible to fix a 200mm diameter flange
and eventually add the 150mm union if ne-
cessary.
Leave any unused air out-let holes closed.
Draw the outline of the hole to house the cei-
ling-mounted cooker hood in the solid cei-
ling, accordingly to the model chosen (Fig.
1); drill no. 4 holes in the ceiling, according
to the dimensions shown in fig. 2; insert the
metric screw anchor provided into the holes.
Open the panels by slightly pressing them, as
shown in fig. 11, holding them during ope-
ning , and remove the grease filters by acting
on their handle. Screw the threaded bars sup-
plied with the appliance into the metric screw
anchors (fig.4); threaded bars are 250 mm
long and allow the installation of SLT952 EM
cooker hood at a maximum distance of 420
mm from the solid ceiling. In case of a wider
distance between the cooker hood and the
ceiling, use longer threaded bars; similarly,
