• Double check to see that the orange arming tab is still hanging
loosely and repack the PFD as per the Owner's Manual. Make
sure that there is nothing that will tangle or stop the lanyard from
pulling the red cap off when the PFD inflates.
NOTE: THE UNIT IS ACTIVATED BY THE RED CAP BEING RELEASED OR REPOSITIONED,
DEACTIVATE THE S20 IF EITHER OCCURS. IF THE S20 IS ACTIVATED DURING THE
INTEGRATION PROCESS, FOLLOW THE S20'S INSTRUCTION FOR USE. TO DEACTIVATE,
HOLD THE OFF BUTTON FOR AT LEAST 3 SECONDS.
Integration of the McMurdo Smartfind S20 SRS with the Mustang
Survival EP 38 Inflatable Ocean Racing Vest will not void the PFD's
approval. If you are not confident that you can attach the S20 to this
PFD in accordance with these instructions, contact Mustang Survival
customer service.
