8 TROUBLESHOOTING
The remote won't control your A/V equipment, or doesn't work at all:
•
Use manual controls or the original remote control to confirm the equipment is working
properly.
•
Be sure you pressed the device key for the device you want to control.
•
Re-enter the code for your A/V product from the code listings on the separate sheet
(included).
•
Try searching for codes as described in chapter 4.7.
•
Replace the Remote's batteries.
If you are not getting any sound at all from the Speakerlink 65
•
Check that the CHANNEL slide switches (labelled A, B, C, D) on both units have been set to the
same letter.
•
Check that both the transmitter's and receiver's power supplies have been plugged in. Check
that the ON/OFF switches on the transmitter and receiver are in the ON position.
If the sound is poor, or there is interference
•
Try changing the channel on both units. Do this by adjusting the CHANNEL slide switch on
each unit to any position (A, B, C, or D).
•
Make sure both units are set to the same letter. Try repositioning the antenna on each unit.
