Fitting instructions
1)
Remove the bumper, exhaust and heat shield in the rear of the vehicle.
Permanently remove the metal buffer beam from the bumper.
2)
Remove the 4 rubber caps at the bottom and left on the inside of the chassis beams. Bring the mounting
tubes (1) and (2), through the openings in the rear of the body work, in the chassis beams till points (A),
(B) and (C) match the provided drillings which are liberated after having removed the rubber caps.
Place the mounting lats (5) against the underside and inside of the chassis beams on the points (A), (B)
and (C) of the mounting tubes.
Insert the bolts by (A), (B) and (C) but do not tighten them.
3)
Place the tow bar in the bumper, affix the bumper on the tow bar on the points (F). At the bottom in the
bumper, a little must be cut away so that the tow bar fits into its place.
4)
First, shove the plastic caps (6) and (7),over the assembly tubes, against the chassis of the vehicle. Slide
the tow bar (with bumper) over the mounting tubes till the points (E) of the tow bar match the points (E)
of the mounting pieces (1) and (2). Insert the necessary bolts.
Points (D) and (D') are coming against the body work in the rear of the vehicle on the liberated drillings
after having removed the buffer beam. Insert the bolts and place the washers on the inside of the trunk on
these bolts.
Tighten everything firmly.
5)
Refix the bumper at the bottom of the vehicle and fix the hangrubber of the exhaust on point (K) of the
tow bar. Assemble the heat shield and the exhaust.
6)
Assemble (*) and tighten firmly.

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
