5.3- Tips
- The trimming cut will be improved if an angle of 5°, between the hedge and the blade, is kept
during the operation.
- Both sides of the cutting blades allow trimming both ways: from right to left or left to right.
- To achieve a regular trim, we recommend you to limit the side of the hedge with a wire or line.
Only the branches higher than the top of the wire or line should be cut.
- The sides of a hedge should be trimmed from bottom to top.
CORRECT CUTTING
2) Blade inclined to the front :
The blade allows you to cut high hedges or to cut the opposite
side of the hedge.
4) Should you wish to cut on the ground: maintain the blade at
least 5cm above ground level.
For that, it is important to correctly adjust the length of the
telescopic tube and the angle of the blade.
WARNING :
Do not use the product:
- while on a tree, on a ladder or any unstable surface.
- while on an unstable or unbalanced position
- near overhead electric cables
Note :
- Do not hold tool close to body or face.
- Debris may fly during cutting operation; wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment.
Important :
- Large branches should be cut with shears.
- In case the blades get blocked, stop and unplug the hedge trimmer. Then, remove the blockage.
WRONG CUTTING
1) Straight blade: the blade
allows you to cut flat.
3) For trimming: carry out a
blade movement from left to
right and right to left in order to
carry out a regular cut and to
limit the wear of blade.
