Connecting to the Battery Pack

The Battery Pack provides a metal connector on the end of the housing so it can be easily
disconnected from the connecting cable and transported to a safe area to be charged. The battery
cable is connected to the battery by aligning the key of the cable connector with the slot in the
battery connector and pressing in while turning clockwise one quarter turn. Refer to Figure 3-4 for
the location of the connector.
3.2.4.

Disconnecting from the Battery Pack

To disconnect the battery from the battery cable for charging, twist the cable connector on the end of
the cable counterclockwise one quarter turn while pulling out gently. After the cable has been
removed, the battery may be transported to a safe area where it can be charged.

Note that the 64050625 battery pack is shipped from the factory in a discharged condition.
Before use, the battery pack must be placed on the charger in the safe area and charged for at
least 6.5 hours.
