4.3.2- Assembly of bearing arm to the base
1. After the installation, fit the bearing arm to the base by inserting the pilot pin and securing it with a
hexagonal screw (b) (see Fig.2)
2. Now, it is possible on the rear side to fit a washer (a) to the screw (b) and then screw tightly the setting
wheel (c). (Fig.3)
4.3.3- Handle assembly
Screw the control handle in the grinding disk body (Fig.4)
4.3.4- Disk protective enclosure assembly
Fit the grinding disk enclosure (14) by using the supplied screws and a respective wrench (Fig.5)
Ensure that the lateral protective guard (2) is properly screwed to the main protective guard (14) (Fig.8)

4.4- Grinding Disk Assembly
1. To be able to install the disk, it is necessary to unscrew :
- the lateral protective guard (2) (Fig.8)
- the ancillary flange (d) (Fig.6)
2. Then you can insert the grinding disk (13) in the body from below.
3. Ensure that the ancillary flange and the disk fit precisely against each
other and screw tightly (Fig.7).
4. Do not tighten the screws too much to avoid any damage to the disk.
The grinding disk torque tightening force to the hub is 7Nm. Where
practicable, use a torque spanner.
5. Now, the grinding disk lateral guard (2) should be fitted on (Fig.8).
6. Check the correct bottoming of the disk: the grinding disk should
rotate freely, it should not move across and lengthwise.
7. Now, with the grinding disk properly installed, a trial run may be
performed. Stand on the side of the machine and watch out for anybody
dwelling in the working area.
Connect to power supply and switch on the machine, let the disk rotate
with no load to check that disk does rotate freely and that there is no
abnormal noise or vibration.
If the grinding disk is vibrating or shows otherwise incorrect run, promptly switch off and unplug the
machine before attempting to clear the fault.
8. The machine has a zero voltage circuit breaker, which is disabled on outage and will prevent any
restarting of the machine after the power supply is restored.
