1 – Cabinet description
SWEET GLOBAL cabinets are built in units of 940 mm and 1350 mm and in an external corner unit is also available. The
linear 975 mm cabinet unit can be supplied without refrigeration. The general features and external dimensions are clearly
illustrated in Fig. 1 on page 1. The cabinets can be multiplexed so as to obtain compositions of the length and line
desired. As a standard, the cabinets are available in the version with incorporated group (I.G.).
2 - Transportation
The cabinet is provided with wooden slides (or wooden crates packaging on request) which allow the handling through
fork-lifts. The handling has to be performed exclusively by authorised technicians. The weights of the cabinets and their
lifting points are shown at Pag.1, Fig.2.
3 – Receipt and storage
As soon as the cabinet has been received, verify the packaging conditions and make sure that no damages are present.
If the packaging is damaged, the goods conditions have to be verified in presence of the shipping agent. The cabinets
must be placed in a weatherproof environment, the storage temperature must be in the range –25°C / +55°C. The air
humidity must be in the range 30% / 95%. The unpacking activities must be carried out exclusively by authorised
technicians and have to be performed with particular care, because glasses and other fragile parts are present.
Warning: In case the goods have been received damaged, immediate feedback has to be given to the manufacturer.
Delays in such communication will release The Manufacturer from any responsibility. Any damage occurred during the
transportation and/or storage shall not be debited to the Manufacturer.
4 – Installation and environmental conditions
Remove the screws fastening the cabinet to the shipping pallet (Fig. 3 page 2); eliminate the protective packing material
around the cabinet and the plastic film. Do not move the cabinet by its glass parts. To ensure the correct operation, The
cabinet has to be positioned with perfect levelling, by screwing or unscrewing its feet (see Pag.2, Fig.3). It is strongly
forbidden to locate the cabinets in rooms where explosive gaseous substances are stored. The use of the cabinet in the
open air, or in the rain, is considered improper use (see Pag.2, Fig.5).
The performance of the cabinet refers (according to the international standard EN ISO 23953-1/2) to environmental
climatic class 3 which consists of a room temperature of 25°C with relative humidity of 60%.
An adequate front and back clearance is needed, to allow the maintenance operations and the cooling of the condenser
(see Page 2 Fig. 6); usual performances of the cabinets could not be granted whenever ambient conditions are different
from the standard or cabinets are subject to air flows above 0,2 m/sec or heating sources. In such cases lower
performances of the cabinet have to be accepted. To maintain standard performances of the cabinet, information about
the real environment characteristics should be provided before the project is defined, in order to re-consider the technical
parameters and materials, and to be able to update the installer with the refrigerating powers actually required. In case a
rear foot-board is installed, we recommend to have a removable part to allow maintenance of electric board
5 – Assembly of the cabinet
The cabinet should be assembled by authorized personnel only.
Instructions for the assembly of the Sweet Global cabinet:
Remove the glass panels inside the cabinet, after opening or, better, removing the curved front glass to facilitate the
operation. Unpack them and place the glass intermediate shelves on their brackets (Fig. 7 page 2), taking care to position
the narrowest one as the first shelf on top. Remove the shelf blocks fitted for shipment; the standard shelves can be
positioned in 2 ways: horizontally, as assembled in the factory, and tilted (Fig. 8 page 2).
6 – Electric connection
Important: installation should be made following the manufacturer's instructions, by qualified personnel only, in conformity
with the electric safety regulations in force. Please refer to the electrical diagram at page 6.
At the input of the supply it is necessary to install an omni-polar magnetothermic/differential device with contact opening
equal to 3 mm and adequate cut-off power.
Warning : Before connecting the cabinet to the power supply, make sure that the supply voltage corresponds to the
values indicated on the cabinet plate (please consider that the maximum fluctuation of the supply voltage must be in the
range of +/- 10%.
The cables used in the electrical circuit of the building must be of adequate length and size to carry the power and the
load current of the cabinet. See Pag.3, Tab.1. The cabinet in plug-in version are provided with plug and cable 2,5 m
length (see Page 3 Fig. 10), so that it is compulsory to meet such dimension when connecting the cabinet to the socket
available in the wall. When arranging the cable, please make sure that it is placed in straight way, avoiding spirals which
can generate unwanted electromagnetic fields. The cable must be placed in a safe position, protected from pushes, water
or liquid in general, heating and it must not be damaged. In case of breakage of the power cable of the cabinet, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or by institution in charge of it. The power supply plug must be accessible even after
