If you notice any transport damage
while unpacking, notify your supplier
immediately. Do not operate the
machine!
Dispose of the packing in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Mains connection and any extension
cords used must comply with applicable
regulations.
The mains voltage must comply with the
information on the machine licence
plate.
The mains connection must have a 16A
surge-proof fuse.
Only use power cords marked H07RN-F
Connections and repairs to the electrical
equipment may only be carried out by
qualified electricians.
For 400V model only:
Make sure that the sawblade is running
the correct direction (if not, inverse
phases).

5.4 Starting operation

You can energize the machine with the
green ON-button of the main switch (Z,
Fig 2).
Fig 2

the main motor, wait for sufficient
coolant flow before you start cutting.
On the speed select switch (X, 400Volt
models only) two cutting speeds can be
chosen:
1- Low Speed 42 rpm for cutting steel
2- High Speed 84 rpm for soft material
(aluminium, brass, etc.)
The red OFF-button on the main switch
(Z) disconnects the machine from power
source.
In case of machine overload the motor
overload cut-off will react.
After appr.10 min of cooling the
machine can be started again.

6. Machine operation

Correct working position:
In front of the machine standing in the
direction of cutting.
Workpiece handling:
Support long workpieces with helping
roller stands.
The condition of the blade should be
checked before each machining process.
Work only with a sharp and flawless
sawblade.
Select saw blade in relation to material
to be cut.
Don't take measurements or
adjustments when the machine is
running
Don't chuck too short in vise.
Don't cut magnesium-
high danger to fire!
Ensure that the saw blade protective
cover is in the correct position before
you start sawing.
Place workpiece in vise and tighten vise.
The workpiece should be fitted directly
between the jaws without adding other
objects.
Never hold a workpiece just by hand –
