receiver location / wiring

The remote receiver can either be installed into the side of the appliance (see illustration
below) or hard wired into a wall within 8 feet of the appliance and must be accessible for
programming the remote.
note:
The remote receiver cover plate must be installed on the outside of the appliance using 2 screws
(supplied by the manufacturer).
If installing into a wall, install the receiver into a standard electrical switch box. Determine an
appropriate location and install the electrical box.
For wiring information see the "wiring diagram" section.
note:
Ensure the 3 position slider switch is in the "REMOTE" position (middle).
