SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MANAGER/USER
The current legislation, standards and regulations governing safety must be observed at all times.
Eliminate all risks related to electricity.
Observe all current standards.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ASSEMBLY, INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE
As a general principle, perform all operations exclusively with the machine switched off. The pumps or units that convey hazardous
substances must be suitably decontaminated.
Immediately after these operations, all safety and protection devices must be refit and set for operation. The efficiency of these
devices must be checked before operating the pump, in observance of the current and relevant standards and regulations.
INDEPENDENT MODIFICATIONS AND THE PRODUCTION OF SPARE PARTS
Modifications to the machine are only admissible on agreement with the manufacturer. The use of original spare parts and accessories
authorised by the manufacturer will guarantee safety. The manufacturer declines liability for the use of nonoriginal parts and any
consequences of such actions.
All materials in contact with water have been tested and approved, therefore only original replacement parts should be used.
IMPROPER USE OR OPERATION
The operating safety of the machine purchased is only guaranteed when used in compliance with the instructions/information supplied.
The limit values stated in the chapter "Technical Specifications" must never be exceeded, under any circumstances.

Accident prevention instructions
Never perform work alone; always wear safety helmets and goggles, safety footwear and, where necessary, suitable safety harnesses.
Before performing welding or using other electrical devices, check that there is no risk of explosion.
Take care to ensure cleanliness and good health.
Ensure that there are no toxic gases present in the work area.
Always observe safety standards at the work place and keep a first aid kit on site.
In some cases, the pump and the pumping medium may be hot and could cause burns.
For assembly in area subject to the risk of explosion, specific standards apply.
This device may be used by children over the age of 8, or by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities or those with
little experience or knowledge, if under supervision or trained in the use of the device, and aware of the associated risks. Never
allow children to play with this device. Cleaning and maintenance required of the user may never be performed by children without
supervision.
DANGER - ELECTRIC SHOCK RISK
The work required for electrical installations on the pump or control panel must be performed exclusively by a specialised
electrician.
DANGER - ELECTRIC SHOCK RISK
Ensure that the pump is only connected to sockets installed in compliance with current standards, made safe by means of a
high sensitivity residual current circuit breaker (RCD, 30mA).
DANGER - ELECTRIC SHOCK RISK
Before any operation on the pump, disconnect the plug from the power mains.
DANGER - ELECTRIC SHOCK RISK
Check that the power cable is not mechanically or chemically damaged. Replace any damaged or kinked cables.
