CHAPTER 1
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
These operation instructions contain the basic information to be observed during installation, operation and maintenance of the pump.
It is important that the operation instructions are read by the installer and specialised personnel/supervisor before assembling and
starting up the pump. The instructions must always be kept in in the site of pump and system use.
Failure to observe the safety instructions will render the warranty null and void.
In these operation instructions, the safety information is marked with the following symbols. Failure to observe the safety information
constitutes a hazard.

PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS
Personnel assigned for the use, maintenance, inspection and assembly of the pump must be sufficiently qualified for the purpose and
completely familiar with all the operation instructions supplied. The areas of responsibility, competence and monitoring of personnel
must be governed in a precise manner by the supervisor. If personnel do not possess sufficient knowledge, they must be suitably
trained and instructed in these procedures.
