II. PRODUCT PRESENTATION
EVODECK covers are designed to protect pools with the following maximum dimensions:

MANUAL version (EM)

ELECTRIC version (EC)
Evodeck is a floating cover with hinged slats (the slat apron) that rolls up around an axle standing on the
deck at one end of the pool.
Electric version (EC):
The electric version (EC) of the Evodeck cover
includes a declutchable motor that actuates rotation
of the axle to roll the slat apron up or out. The motor
is powered by a 24 V AC transformer that has
maximum current draw of 1.4 A at the transformer
primary.
The Evodeck electric version is further differentiated
into two sub-versions:
EC with "ends of travel":
With the "end of travel" version of the cover, the final
positions of the slat apron, when it is deployed over
the pool, and when it is rolled around the axle, can
be set by programming the ends of travel, such that
the cover automatically stops in the ideal position.
EC without "ends of travel":
A motorised version without ends of travel is also
available. In this case, the user stops the movement
of the cover using the contact key when the cover
is in position (rolled out over the pool or rolled up
around the axle).
The motor (as well as the ends of travel programming
panel) is located in the stand, under a protective
flange. It may be positioned at either side of the
mechanical assembly. This stand should be wired
into the mains 50 Hz / 220-240 V AC.
The motor is controlled by a 3 position key located
on the flange of the stand in which the motor is
installed.

Maximum pool size
10 m x 5 m + peripheral step, 2 m (that is, maximum
cover length of 12 m)
12 m x 6 m + peripheral step, 2 m (that is, maximum
cover length of 14 m)
Manual version (EM):
The manual version is not motorised. The cover can
only be rolled up or out using an electrical drill fitted
with a 10 mm hex bit (not supplied) - or, failing this,
a hand crank fitted with a 10 mm hex end piece.
To ensure users' electrical safety, only use a
wireless drill (powered by a battery with a voltage of
12V AC or 30 V DC), do not use a drill plugged into
a 230V AC supply.
Retrofitting:
As the name would suggest, EVODECK covers
can evolve. They may be retrofitted with upgrades:
the manual version can easily be upgraded to
either of the two motorised versions by replacing
the reduction gear module with the motorisation kit
(motor, key switch, electrical cables, circuit board
and programming panel, connection box housing
the functional components and connections, etc.).
Similarly the electrical version without ends of travel
may retrofitted with ends of travel.
