I. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
WARNING : Pools can present a serious danger to your children. Drowning happens very quickly. Children
in the vicinity of a pool require your constant vigilance and active supervision, even if they know how to
swim. The physical presence of a responsible adult is necessary while the pool is open.
Learn fist aid.
- Memorise emergency numbers and display these close to the pool:
Ambulance
Fire brigade
Poison control centre
WARNING: The cover may only be operated by a responsible adult. The person operating the cover should
ensure that there is nobody in the pool, and should watch the pool constantly while rolling the cover up
or out. Always make sure that the cover is rolled up or out completely, never leave it in an intermediate
position. Safety is only assured when the cover is installed in accordance with these instructions, rolled
out over the pool and locked. Make sure that the water level in the pool allows the cover to be locked
normally.
- A cover is no substitute good sense, responsibility or the vigilance of parents and/ or responsible adults
which remains key in ensuring the protection of young children.
- Children should not be allowed to play with, walk on or jump on the cover; neither cleaning nor maintenance
should be entrusted to children.
- In the event of a break down, malfunction of temporary unavailability of the cover, take all steps necessary
to prevent young children from having access to the pool until the cover is repaired.
The cover may only be operated by children under
8, or people with diminished motor, sensory and
cognitive abilities, or people with no experience or
knowledge:
under proper supervision,
if all the instructions concerning safe use of
the cover, and the associated risks, have been
explained to them and understood.
Children should not be allowed to play with the cover
and they should not be entrusted with cleaning or
maintenance of the cover.
EVODECK EM:
To ensure the electrical safety of users, only use a
wireless drill (powered by a battery with a voltage of
12V AC or 30 V DC), do not use a drill plugged into
a 230V AC supply.
EVODECK EC :
The EVODECK EC motorisation system must be
wired in by an experienced professional.
The motor flange power cable should not present
a tripping hazard to people around the pool. We
strongly recommend that you run the cable under
the decking (under the flagstones, in a trench, in the
joint between flagstones), and in a sheath in order
to protect the cable and allow it to be replaced if
necessary. If the cable is damage, have it replaced
immediately by a professional.
A 30mA differential circuit breaker and a means of
disconnecting the power supply should be installed
at the head of the line.
Never leave the key in the motor flange. After
use, always store it out of the reach of children (to
remove the key, switch it to "0").
Do not clean the motor flange or casing with a
pressurised jet of water.
