VII. USE
IMPORTANT: before rolling the slat apron
around the axle, always check that the all the
safety fasteners have been released first.
The cover can be rolled up and out by a single
person.
The cover may be used in winter as long as the pool
water does not ice over.
1) Version EC with ends of travel
For safety reasons, contact must be maintained
while rolling the cover out. Switch the key to the
Close position (water side), and maintain contact
until the cover reaches its previously set 'Closed'
position and automatically stops moving (see
paragraph VI).
Contact does not need to be maintained to roll the
cover up: switch the key to the Open position and
immediately release it. The cover will roll up and
stop in the previously programmed Open position.
(see paragraph VI).
2) Version EC without ends of travel
Both operations (rolling the cover up and rolling
the cover out) require contact to be maintained,
release the key when the cover reaches the desired
position.
Caution: to avoid damage to the slat apron:
While rolling the cover out, you must release the
key before the slat apron touches the pool wall
While rolling the cover up, release the key before
the end of the slat apron reaches the other side
of the axle.
3) Version EM
Note: The black box with the motor cannot be
detached.
A wireless drill (not provided) fitted with a 10 mm
hex bit (not provided) will be needed to roll the
cover up or out.
The minimum torque required for the drill is 15
Nm.
IMPORTANT: The drill mandrel RPM
should not cause the cover axle to
rotate at more than 5 RPM.
To actuate the cover, fit the hex drill bit into the tip
of the shaft protruding from the motor flange.
Caution: to avoid damage to the slat apron:
While rolling the cover out, you must stop the drill
before the slat apron touches the pool wall.
While rolling the cover up, stop the drill before
the end of the slat apron reaches the other side
of the axle.
