4 Extension table
CS 70 VL / TKS 80 VL [2-2]
The extension table CS 70 VL / TKS 80 VL can be
mounted on the rear of the CS 70 EB / TKS 80 EBS
to provide a safe support when sawing longer work
pieces.
The saw table is thus extended by 530 mm.
Proceed as follows:
Mounting the fitting angles
Mount left and right fitting angle to rear of frame
with enclosed bolts, square nuts and washers.
fInsert the square nuts [5-1] in the pro-
file [5-2] on the underside of the table.
fTKS 80 EBS and CS 70 VL without sliding ta-
ble fitted (Fig. 5C): Screw the holding brack-
et [5-3] (offset inwards) with screws [5-4] and
washers [5-5] using the square nuts [5-1].
fCS 70 VL with sliding table fitted (Fig. 5D‑5E):
The fitting angle for the extension table is placed
on the fitting angle for the sliding table [5-3] on
the side of the sliding table and both fitting an-
gles fastened together (on top of one another).
The enclosed 4 mm washer [5-6] then has to
be inserted beneath the fitting angle on the
other side.

Mount the extension table (fig. 6)
fUnfold supports [6-4] at a 90° angle to the
tabletop.
fRelease left and right rotary knobs [6-7] by
approx. 3-4 rotations (turn anti-clockwise).
fWith a slight upwards tilt, hang the length ex-
tension table on the threaded bolt of the ro-
tary knobs [6-7] in the open slot [6-3] on the
fitting angle [6-2]. While doing so, the fitting
angle [6-2] is between the rotary knob [6-7]
and handle [6-6].
fLower the extension table onto roughly the
same level as the saw table and insert the
end of the support [6-8] into the slot [6-10] in
the table frame, press down and fasten with
knurled nut [6-9].
fPush extension table onto roughly the same
level as the saw table and fasten with left and
right rotary knobs [6-7]. The brass collar on
the rotary knobs should rest in the base of the
slot.
fAlign the table lengthener on the direct join
with the table base to a position slightly be-
low the surface of the table base (Approx. dis-
tance: paper thickness - check by placing the
stop ruler on the table base).
fCheck that the entire surface of the extension
is flat with the stop guide.
fIt can be levelled by adjusting the support leg
fixing nuts [6-5] or the support leg hexagon
socket head screws [6-11].
Disassembling the length extension table
fRelease rotary knobs [6-7].
fLoosen knurled nuts [6-9].
fPull the ends of the support legs [6-8] out of
the elongated hole [6-10].
fSlightly raise the rear of the length extension
table and lift it out off the slots in the fitting
angles [6-3].
fFold supports [6-4] in crosswise.
5 Environment
Do not dispose of accessories in the-
household waste. Recycle accessories
and packaging. Observe applicable
