This function is not available if the

scrolling text is deactivated. For

Activate/deactivate the displaying
of track information as scrolling
text (SCRL)
To activate/deactivate the displaying of track
information as scrolling text at the start of a
track,
u first switch to USB MP3/WMA mode, if
necessary.
u Press the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
u Press the MENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until "SCRL" and the current setting ("ON"
or "OFF") appear in the display ④.

u Turn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to deactivate or activate
scrolling text.
u Press the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times) to close the menu.
If "SCRL OFF" is set, the track information
appears in the display ④ in sections of 8
characters at a time. In this case, the display
continuously switches between showing each
section of text as well as the track number and
playing time for 5 seconds each.
