Covering the headset connection

1. Insert the tab on the rubber cover for the
headset connection in the opening on the
left-hand side of the handset.
2. Press the rubber cover on.

Covering the USB connection

1. Insert the tab on the rubber cover
in the left-hand side of the
opening.
2. Press the rubber cover on.

Charging batteries

• Before you use the handset for the first time, put it
in the charging cradle and fully charge the
rechargeable batteries.
The rechargeable batteries are fully charged when the lighting flash symbol
goes out in the display.
Caution: The handset must be charged in the charging cradle supplied
with it!
Note: The rechargeable batteries might warm up during charging. This is
not dangerous. For technical reasons, the charging capacity of the
rechargeable batteries reduces over time.
The Setup Assistant runs immediately, when the handset is connected to a
power source.

Selecting a display language

The language setting display is displayed. The set
language (e.g. English) is marked.

1. Press
is marked in the display.
2. Press the right-hand key directly under the display to select the language.
3. Exiting the menu: Press
