Initial Commissioning

Connecting the charging cradle

1. Connect the flat connector (A) on the end
of the wall-mounted power supply cable
(B) to the charging cradle (C).
2. Plug the wall-mounted power supply (B)
into the mains socket.
Disconnect the flat connector from the
charging cradle (C) again:
1. Disconnect the wall-mounted power
supply (B) from the mains.
2. Press the unlocking key (D).
3. Disconnect the flat connector (A).

Inserting the battery and closing the battery compartment cover

Warning: Using unapproved rechargeable batteries or normal batteries
can cause serious harm to health or damage to equipment, and also
functional faults or damage to the device. The casing of rechargeable
batteries can be destroyed, or rechargeable batteries can explode.
• Only use rechargeable batteries that suit the device's technical data.

1. Insert the rechargeable batteries with +/- alignment as shown in Figure E.
2. Align the rechargeable battery cover so that the tabs on its side fit into the
recesses on the inside of the case (Figure F).
3. Press the cover to close it until it clicks in place.
If you need to open the rechargeable battery cover again, to replace the
rechargeable batteries:
1. Remove the belt clip (if present).
2. Place your fingernail in the groove on the cover and slide the cover down
(Figure G).
