NOTE
Follow the administrator manual for the configuration software and for
the barcode scanner. seca Service will be pleased to assist if you have

1. Press the Start key.

4. Scan the baby's patient ID.
The patient ID has been scanned successfully if "Id:P" appears in the
display.

Data loss
If there is no input for approx. 10 minutes, partial results are
discarded.

Measure one baby's weight and length immediately consecutively.
5. Measuring the baby's length (in conjunction with

6. Press Enter to send measured values to the HIS or to seca software.
The status LED flashes green (approx. 5 seconds) while the data are
being transmitted.
7. Wait until the status LED is illuminated green.
All measured results are present and identification is complete.
Once the measured values have been sent successfully, the status LED
goes out.
NOTE
Which measured values are sent depends on the presets in the
seca connect 103
your administrator or hospital technician.

In battery mode, the scale remains on standby for 60 seconds. If there
is no input during standby time, the scale switches off automatically.
Standby time can be adjusted (see "Setting standby time (AOff)" on
page 63).
