CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING

space as the exhaust contains carbon monoxide gas. Inhalation
of carbon monoxide gas can lead to illness or death. The area
must be well ventilated. Opening windows and doors is not
enough to ventilate an area.
Carbon monoxide is a colourless and odourless gas that is
difficult to detect. Carbon monoxide poisoning results from
inhalation of the gas and may be lethal if left untreated. Evacuate
all people to an area with clean air and seek immediate medical
attention for any person experiencing the following symptoms:
• Headache
