Do not store items of interest to children in

cabinets above a range or on the back-
guard of a range. Children climbing on the
range to reach items could be seriously in-
jured.
Do not leave children alone.

Cleaning function
Follow these safety instructions when using
the cleaning function.

During the elimination of soil during self-

cleaning, small amounts of carbon monox-
ide can be created and the fiberglass insu-
lation could give off very small amounts of
formaldehyde during the first several
cleaning cycles.

To minimize exposure to these sub-
stances, provide good ventilation with an
open window, or use a ventilation fan or
hood.
The oven heats up to very high tempera-
¡
ture during self cleaning. Opening the
door can result in injury.
▶
When self-cleaning, confirm that the
door locks and will not open.
▶
If the door does not lock, do not run self
