Use as a hedge trimmer

Move the unit forward evenly.
•
The double-sided cutting heads en-
able cutting in both directions or by
swinging the unit from side to side.
Changing the blades
Before changing the blades,
ensure that the equipment is
switched off in order to avoid
hazards and injuries.
Removing the Blades:
1.
Hold down the ribbed button (17)
on the bottom of the equipment
and push the blade cover (9)
towards the equipment handle
. Lift off the blade cover.
2.
Remove the entire blade.
Inserting the Grass Shearing
Blade
1.
Positioning the movable blade
plate (18) of the grass shearing
blade (11): the two markings
(19) on the blade plate and non-
moving shearing plate (20) must
match up.
2.
Before inserting the grass shear-
ing blade, position the blade drive
(21) using the enclosed blade
installation key (14):
The marking on the blade drive
must match up with the marking
on the side of the cutting head (2)
(22).
3.
Fit the grass shearing blade (11).
The non-movable shearing plate
(20) must point outwards.
The notches (23) on the blade fit
onto the pins (24) in the equip-
ment housing.

Fit the blade cover (9) and push
it towards the blade until it clicks
into place.
Inserting the Shrub Shearing
Blade
1.
Positioning the movable blade
plate (25) of the shrub shearing
blade (13):
The two markings on the blade
plate and non-moving shearing
plate (26) must match up.
2.
Before inserting the shrub shear-
ing blade, position the blade drive
(21) using the enclosed blade
installation key (14): The marking
on the blade drive must point to-
wards the bottom pin (24).
3.
Fit the shrub shearing blade (13).
The non-movable shearing plate
(26) must point outwards.
The notches (27) on the blade fit
onto the pins (24) in the equip-
ment housing.
4.
Fit the blade cover (9) and push
it towards the blade until it clicks
into place.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Leave any work not covered
in this manual to our Service
Centre. Only use original parts.
There is a risk of injury!
Wear gloves when handling the
blades. There is a risk of injury
from cuts!
Never use cleaning agents or sol-
vents, which can cause irreparable
damage to the unit. Chemicals can
attack the plastic components on
the unit.
