Setting the speed limiter

if the current speed is more than 250 km/h. There are four high-pitched
beeps.
if the current speed falls below 75 % of the stored speed (e.g. going up-
hill). There are five high-pitched beeps.
if the current speed increases to over 150 % of the stored speed (e.g. go-
ing downhill). There are six high-pitched beeps.
if there is a fault in the accelerator pedal cable set. There are seven high-
pitched beeps.
if the engine speed increases unusually. There are eight high-pitched
beeps.

14.1
Setting the absolute maximum speed
This programmes a maximum value for the speed limiter.
NOTE
I
Be very conscientious when configuring the value! Calculate, for
example, a buffer for overtaking manoeuvres.
Step 1
Start setup mode (chapter "Starting setup mode" on page 91).
Apply the brake and hold it down.
Press the RES button five times in rapid succession.
A low-pitched acoustic signal sound every time the RES button is
pressed.
Release the brake.
You will hear five high-pitched signals.
NOTE
I
If you do not hear five signals, repeat the first step.
