Demounting Homokinetic Joint
Before starting the job, make sure that the joint can be removed. Check whether
the safety device can be removed.
1. Place the lower jaw of the device under the axle shaft, fitting the groove on the
axle shaft to the groove on the jaw.
2. Mount the fork of the tool, fitting the pin of the axle shaft into the hole of the fork.
Choose such holes as to be able to use the nut of the axle shaft to demount the
joint.
3. Fit the upper jaw onto the lower jaw, so that the axle shaft can be placed
between them, and tighten the bolts to lock it.
4. Lubricate the nut of the axle shaft and the washer; screw them onto the axle
shaft to release the joint. If the joint is fixed with a Seeger ring, keep it open
while pulling.
If the joint cannot be released, hit the joint surface with a rubber hammer.
Replace the nut, and slightly hit the joint, if need be.
Do not use any extensions or heavy wrenches.
If the joint cannot still be released, please contact the manufacturer.
To prevent the joint from turning on itself, shift into a low gear or pull the hand
brake, or lock it with a pair of pliers.
WARRANTY
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for misuse or any use that is not in
compliance with the contents hereof.
