You can set the desired duration in seconds using the arrow keys.
Value range: OFF, 1 – 60, default setting: OFF
▪
Confirm with the OK-key. You will then be returned to the initial "SPEED STEP TIME" level.
3.2.5 A "capture function" for the speed controller can be enabled via the "CAPTURE SENSITIVITY"
submenu. As a result, if the speed controller does not match the current speed step, e.g. when
switching to the locomotive library, the setting on the speed controller is not immediately
applied and sent to the loco as a speed command. Instead, the speed controller must first
"capture" the current speed step by means of a corresponding rotational movement, whereby
the direction of rotation is indicated by a corresponding, flashing direction arrow. The closer
the speed controller gets to the current speed step, the faster the arrow flashes until a match
is reached. As soon as the arrow is displayed normally again (without flashing), the loco is
travelling at the new speed set via the speed controller. The "intercept sensitivity", i.e. how
close the speed controller must come to the current speed step until the loco "adopts" the
set speed, can be set in 10 steps.
You can set the desired sensitivity in steps using the arrow keys.
Value range: OFF, 1 – 10 (maximum sensitivity), default setting: OFF
▪
Confirm with the OK-key. You will then be returned to the initial "CAPTURE SENSITIVITY"
level.
3.2.6 The "FUNCTION KEYS" are used to activate locomotive functions (F1– F28, e.g. the horn on
a locomotive with sound or a digital coupling) by pressing the corresponding function key for
an extended time (at least 1 second). The function remains active for as long as you hold the
Function Key. If you press the key only briefly, the desired function is activated normally.
You select the desired status using the arrow keys.
Factory setting: OFF
▪
To confirm, press the OK-key. You return to the start level "FUNCTION KEYS."
3.2.7 The WLANmaus has "CHILD LOCK" which can be set tomultiple levels and can be activated
after calling up the menu item using the arrow keys.
To block an area, you will need to enter a code which is comprised of 4 numbers (no letters!).
The password is then always requested when you wish to call up a protected area of the
WLANmaus.
Factory setting: OFF
▪
"DISABLE MENU": The three main menus cannot be called up;
▪
"DISABLE PRG-MENU": The quick-programming mode is also blocked;
▪
"DISABLE LIB-PRG-MENU": All changes to the locomotive library are also prevented in ad
dition to both items mentioned above.
▪
JEach input has to be confirmed by pressing the OK-key.3.3
3.3
"RESET"
The WLANmaus is a particularly user-friendly digital controller and can be reset to the factory settings,
not just completely but also partially.
3.3.1 "CANCEL" can be regarded as the emergency exit from this menu item.
3.3.2 When the "SETTINGS" are reset, all entries in the "Settings" menu are reset to factory set-
tings. The locomotive library remains intact. If calibration has been performed (see 3.3.7), it
will have to be repeated after the reset.
3.3.3 Select this sub-item if you wish to delete the "LOCO LIBRARY."
3.3.4 If you select "TRACKS", all stored tracks will be deleted.
