1.2 Explanations concerning the entering of characters when entering
the SSID and password:
For the following editing of characters, the WLANmaus requires at least Firmware V1.06. If no text has
been entered yet, then the activation of capitals by pressing the "Shift" key (shown in the display with
the "Shift" symbol), will cause all entered letters to be saved in capitals until deactivation of this capi-
talisation by pressing the "Shift" key again, after which all entered letters will be saved in lower case.
If a text which has already been entered is edited, then the "Shift" symbol shown in the display means
that the current letter has been saved as a capital letter, and if no "Shift" symbol is shown, this means
that the letter has been saved in lower case. Other presentations of these letters are unfortunately not
possible with the WLANmaus for technical reasons.
Note: Please observe that lower/upper case sensitivity only applies for the following input: "SSID",
"PASSWORD" and "DEVICE NAME".
The characters are entered using the keyboard similar to when writing a text message on a mobile telephone.
Explanation taking a sample password as an example: 5cFfZw!7
"5": The figure 5 is reached by pressing the 5 button 4 times (the letters J K L are passed).
"c": The small c is reached by pressing the 2 button 3 times (the letters A B are passed).
"F": The capital F is reached by activating (pressing) the Shift button and pressing the 3 button 3 times.
"f": The small f is reached by deactivating (pressing) the Shift button and pressing the 3 button 3 times.
"Z": The capital Z is reached by activating (pressing) the Shift button and pressing the 9 button 4 times.
"w": The small w is reached by deactivating (pressing) the Shift button and pressing the 9 button once.
"!": The special character ! is reached by pressing the 1 button 4 times.
"7": The figure 7 is reached by pressing the 7 button 5 times.
