8.4 Aligning the SCT 415 S52 with the
lengthwise plane through center of
vehicle
Optional when using the Greenline laser module
(P-Assist S5)

The specific values for the exact alignment of the
SCT 415 S52 are described in the car manufacturer's
"Repair instructions".
Find below an alignment example
1. Place the SCT 415 S52 in front of the vehicle.
2. Attach the P-Assist S5 to laser mount A, and use the
securing cable to secure it.

8.5 Aligning by means of the positioning device

Using P-Assist S5 (line laser), illuminate
through the calibration board and align
in accordance with the passenger car
manufacturer's specifications.

3. Switch on the P-Assist S5.
 The laser line now runs across the vehicle.
4. Align the SCT 415 S52 in such a way that the
manufacturer's badge on the front of the vehicle and
the antenna are highlighted by the laser line.

vehicle.

If the manufacturer's badge or the antenna are not
located along the longitudinal center plane of the
vehicle, the manufacturer badge on the tailgate can
be used as a second reference point. In that case,
open the tailgate and highlight the center of the
manufacturer's badge on the vehicle front and the
tailgate with the laser line.
