Structure and meaning
Warning notices warn of dangers to the user or people
in the vicinity. Warning notices also indicate the con-
sequences of the hazard as well as preventive action.
Warning notices have the following structure:

Important information

Before commissioning, connecting and operating
Bosch products, it is absolutely essential to
read the entire operating instructions carefully, es-
pecially the safety instructions. By doing so, any uncertain-
ties in handling Bosch products and the associated risks
are avoided in the interests of your own safety and of pre-
venting damage to the products. If a Bosch product is
handed over to another user, the operating instructions, the
safety instructions and the information on the intended use
must be handed over as well.

Intended use

The SCT 415 S52 is intended for static calibration of
sensors and cameras on vehicles only. The repair and
service instructions specific to the make apply. Any other
or additional use is not considered the intended use.

The SCT 415 S52 must only be used by trained and
briefed personnel. The manufacturer (Bosch GmbH)
assumes no liability for any damage arising from impro-
per, incorrect or negligent use.

Make sure operating and safety instructions are always
close at hand at the operating site.
¶
Observe all the safety instructions and hazard warnings
on the SCT 415 S52, and make sure they are always
complete and clearly legible.
¶
Operate the SCT 415 S52 and the accessories required
for testing only within their specific work context.
¶
Before using the SCT 415 S52, make sure the test
equipment is correctly set up and connected.
¶
Observe the test/maintenance intervals that are either
mandatory or specified in the operating instructions.
¶
Never perform maintenance work during operation.
Switch off the device before performing maintenance
work.
¶
Follow the instructions for switching the device on and
off specified in the operating instructions along with the
notes for repairs when performing any work!
