4.2. Leg rests
Both leg rests are supplied with the foot plates fitted. The spacing of
the foot plates can be adjusted to different lower leg lengths.
To do this, loosen the bolts (Fig. 6), push/pull the foot plate to the
desired position and tighten the bolts again. Make sure that both foot
plates are adjusted to the same length.

4.3. Fitting the leg rests
Hold the upper part of the leg rest so that the foot plate points
outwards. Clip the leg rest into the hinge.
Now simply fold the leg rest forwards until it automatically engages
with a clicking sound (Fig. 8).

4.3.1. Swivelling the leg rests
outwards
8
To make it as easy as possible to get into and out of your B+B folding
wheelchair, if necessary you can simply swivel the leg rests outwards
without having to remove them (Fig. 7). Pull the handle. This opens
the locking mechanism (Fig. 8). If necessary, fold the foot plates
upwards.
Now you can swivel the leg rest outwards.
To return to the original position, simply swing the leg rest forwards
until it locks into place.

Check the leg rests are firmly attached before
setting off!
4.3.2. Removing the leg rests
To transport or stow your wheelchair as compactly as possible, you
can completely remove the leg rests, along with the foot plates.
Pull the handle to open the locking mechanism.
At the same time, swivel the leg rest outwards by 90° and remove it
by pulling upwards.
4.4. Adjusting / activating the
brakes
The brake can only be activated by the person pushing.
Service brake
The service brake is used to brake even on slopes. To activate it, pull
both handbrake levers on the push handles upwards (Fig. 11). Service
and locking brake act on the fixed wheels.
Locking brake
The locking brake can only be activated once the chair is stationary.
Press down on both brake levers to activate the locking device
(Fig. 12). To release the locking brake, pull both brake levers back into
the centre position (Fig. 13/bottom.
Adjusting the brakes
We recommend carrying out the brake adjustments together with your
mobility dealer. If you have the necessary technical knowledge, you can
also carry these out yourself.
The brake is set properly, if the brake pins do not touch the wheel and
the locking brake can be activated easily.
