4. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

4.1. Intended use

The internal units 10-576 are internal video units with colour screen to have a hands-free conversation. They are suitable for use in communication installations
of buildings with combined audio and video installations. The control is carried out via keys and via the on-screen display. The internal units 10-576 are meant
for surface-mounting.
Modifications and repairs of the device are only allowed when described in the product information and carried out by an authorized
installer. Else, all guarantees or liability expire.

Door call with the main serial number (see sticker with serial number on the device and packaging). Distinction between
2 main door calls of external units with ≤ door call ExtU border and > door call ExtU border is possible.
Call of an external unit. 4 different bell push buttons can be used to sound 4 different ringtones on an internal unit.
The ringtone differs according to the used serial number. The internal unit operates with five serial numbers: main
serial number SN (see sticker with serial numbers), SN+1, SN+2, SN+3, SN+4. Each of these serial numbers sounds a
different ringtone on the internal unit.
The bell push buttons of the external unit can be programmed using the service unit 10-870 and Niko Configuration
SW.
Menu which appears on the monitor and via the menu key of the device (or the image key) is activated.
An image only appears on the screen with doors calls by known serial numbers. The images can only be seen on the
assigned internal unit.
The images can see been on any internal unit. For security reasons, the simple comfort mode can not be used in
multi-family homes!
