1.8 Type plate
The type plate is attached to the back of the models and contains all important data of the device. The model
and the series/year number are essential when consulting with the manufacturer.
2. Installation
Do not place the product on its side when loading, unloading and during transport. Make sure that the angle
between the fridge and the floor is more than 45 °.
Please do not start the machine within 2 hours after transport.
To obtain an excellent cooling function, place the product in a dry area with good ventilation while it does not
contain oxygen. Never place the product too closes to heat sources and prevent that it is exposed to direct
sunlight. There must be a gap of more than 80 mm between the fridge and the walls. Place the machine on a flat
solid floor so the product cannot make any noise due to vibrations.
2.1 Positioning
Carefully remove all packing materials in order not to damage the device. The protective plastic must be removed
carefully so no glue residues are left behind. When glue residues are left behind remove these with a suitable
solvent.
•
The device must not be placed in the direct vicinity of heat sources, for example: radiators, cookers,
other heat sources and direct sunlight.
•
Ventilation grids are placed on the bottom left and right side, these grids must be kept free to ensure
optimal air circulation.
•
To ensure that the device functions optimally the device must be placed level and stable, with small
height differences you can adjust these by turning the adjustable legs in or out.
•
The maximum permissible ambient temperature at which proper operation can be guaranteed is 30 ° C.
•
Never place the device in areas where the temperature can go below 0°C.
•
Do not tilt the device but transport it standing up.
•
The cooling device operates optimally with an ambient temperature between 10°C and 30°C, a relative
humidity between 30 and 55%.
2.2 Electrical installation
The electrical connection must comply with the standards as stipulated in the NEN 1010 and the local applicable
regulations. You must consider the following points with the installation.
•
The wall socket must be easily accessible and must comply with the data as mentioned on the type plate.
•
Never use an ungrounded wall socket.
•
Never use an extension lead.
•
This device is equipped with a power cord with a protective earth plug that is long enough to be
connected to a grounded wall socket.
