4.Remove the spark plug and pour three tablespoons of clean motor oil
into the cylinder. Pull the starter rope slowly two or three times to
distribute the oil.
Reinstall the spark plug.
5.Pull the starter grip until resistance is felt. This closes the valves and
protects the engine from internal corrosion.

6.Battery service
If the snow thrower will be stored for an extended period, remove
the battery and store in a cool, dry place. If the battery will remain in
the snow thrower during storage, disconnect the negative terminal
from the battery. Recharge it every 6 months or if the voltage is less
than 12.7V. Recharge every year before operation and before stor-
age.
