Skid plate and scraper
Adjust the skid plate for the auger housing ground clearance best
suited to your snow removal conditions.
The skid plate is installed at the rear (ET, ETD) or side (EW, EWD) of
the auger housing.
Remove the bolts to remove the skid plate, and then set the skid plate
to the convenient position and tighten the bolts securely.
To prevent accidental starting, turn the engine switch to the OFF
position and disconnect the spark plug cap.
1.Place the snow thrower on a level surface.
2.Track models: Depress the auger height lever, push down on the
handlebars to raise the auger off the ground, then slowly lower the
auger until the skid shoes contact the ground.
3.Loosen the skid bolts and move the skid plates up or down to obtain
the desired auger housing ground clearance. Tighten the skid bolts.
4.After adjusting, raise the auger off the ground, then slowly lower and
make sure both skid shoes contact the ground at the same time.

5.Check the scraper ground clearance and readjust to 2.0-4.0mm if
necessary. Tighten scraper bolts.
