Instructions for use of the digital control panel
Important!
Never use an additional timer.
Always test the water yourself, the system will not do this for you.
The default factory settings of the UV-lamp and the dosing pump are set to "switched
off". The device will start operating after you have carried out all the settings.
First action before turning on the dosing pump (drawing 2, 5).
If the pump head has been stopped for a longer period of time, there is a risk that it
will stick. In this case, you will hear a clicking sound. This can be avoided by activating
the silicones in the pump head in advance by pulling the hose to and fro twice.
When the UVC lamp is switched on for the first time, or after a power failure, "tSet"
will appear on the display. This means the first thing you have to do is set the time. This
will always happen after the power has been turned off. Pressing the button
seconds will take you to the "tSet" menu, after that see drawing 12, manual B and read
the text "Setting the clock" on the next page.
Timer
The timer is set to the factory setting of 4,500 hours. The UVC lamp operates at 100%
radiation for up to 4,500 hours. After 4,500 hours, the radiation will weaken, and may
become insufficient to obtain the desired results.
If the UVC lamp had already been used previously, and is switched on again, "tSet" will
appear on the display and the time has to be set (see drawing 12, manual B and the
text "Setting the clock" on the next page. After that, the display will indicate the value
it had at the time it was switched off earlier. If you had increased or reduced the value
of the time meter yourself, the display will indicate the latest counter reading it had
before it was switched off.
