Install wheel assembly as shown above.
2.
Tighten locking nut to 40 ft.-lb. (54.3 Nm) torque.
3.
Verify the speed signal by connecting the sensor to the belt scale integrator and
viewing the belt speed display while rotating the wheel. If the speed signal is not
reliable, reposition the magnetic sensor.
•
Loosen two locknuts around the magnetic sensor.
•
Reposition sensor.
•
Tighten locknuts.
: Metal debris from worn bearings and mounting hardware may accumulate
Note
around the magnetic sensor. This accumulation may interfere with detection of the
tooth gear. Remove all debris that may have accumulated.
