Installing the switch box

Electrical current may cause death or severe injuries.
• Always attach the switch box outside of the filter container, never on the UVC water hous-
ing, if the UVC clarifier is located in a filter container.

For installation on the ProfiClear Premium TF-XL pumped or for separate installation, the switch box is
fastened to the water housing by means of the fastening bracket and the screws in the accessories kit.

For installation in the ProfiClear Premium Individual Module, ProfiClear Premium Compact Classic
pump chamber or ProfiClear Premium XL drain module gravitation, the switch box is fastened to the
outside of the container wall.
• Installation in ProfiClear Premium Individual Module, ProfiClear Premium Compact Classic pump
chamber:
– On new filter containers, the screws for attaching the switch box are pre-installed.
– For filter containers without screws for attachment, holes must be drilled in the container wall and
the screws must be fitted.
• Installation in ProfiClear Premium XL drain module, gravitation:
– The screws for attaching the switch box are pre-installed.

C A U T I O N
The ultra-violet radiation of the UVC lamp can burn your eyes and skin.
• Never operate the UVC lamp outside its casing.
• For safety reasons, the UVC lamp can only be turned on when the UVC clarifier is properly
installed in the device.
• When using several Bitron Premium 120 W / 180 W: Only connect the unit heads of one
UVC clarifier to one switch box.
N O T E
• First open the installed slide valves, then switch on the pump and then the UVC clarifier.
• Check all connections for leaks.
• When using filter starter, medicines or pond water treatments, do not operate the UVC
clarifier for at least 36 hours.
