Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the earth connection (M3) with low impe
dance to the earth potential.
2. Press the AS−Interface cable into the upper part of the
cable socket.
3. Make sure that the AS−Interface cable is free of ten
sion.
4. Place the cable socket in position and screw it tight
(max. 0.3 Nm).
Recommendation: For connecting the AS−Interface cable
use the Festo cable sockets ASI−SD−FK or ASI−SD−FK180.
In this way you will comply with protection class IP65.

*) Connection only if the load voltage supply is configured accord
ingly (see 3.7). Seal non−used connections with the blanking plug
type ASI−SD−FK−BL.
Caution
Functional damage.
S Do not disconnect power supplies under load.
